For anyone who cares, here's the up-to-date discography so far:
HOT-001 Who Cares? 4 song 7", 1998.
the first release, I saved up money to put this out working at my folks' gas station. The gas station would later be home to a pizza shop, where bands would sometimes bug my dad to make them vegan pizza (This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb) and other bands would stop to get gas and gatorade on their way to shows in south Florida (The Lexingtons-thanks for the free CD). This record is 4 songs of very dated, quasi Christian pop punk, with even a touch of ska punk for good measure and extra embarrassment 10 years later.
HOT-002 The Inwoods 7" 1998.
I still like this record a lot, kind of your normal high school 7-seconds-ish hardcore punk, but done really well. The hits were "Nintendo", "I Hate TV", "Lifetime Guarantee", "Laissez Faire" and more. I know my memory is a little fuzzy, but it seemed like there was a good 6 month period where nearly every other Inwoods show ended in the cops pulling the plug (Illuzionz, Satellite Beach), the cops trying to fight a gang of teenage skater boys (Palm Bay Civic Center), or Nick and Danny getting into a fistfight. First 100 copies had the terrible "Buckwheat Bonanza" cover, the remaining records had a much more tasteful late 90s recycled grocery bag look to them.
HOT-003 Degrade/Aberration split 7" 1999.
In high school Degrade were some of my best friends. Most of them were straight edge, so they were always down to be designated driver, which was always a plus when you had a curfew. They planned this split with a band from Indiana called Aberration, I paid for the printing of the covers, the bands came up with the rest of the cash, and I slapped a Hotsauce label on it.
HOT-004 V/A The "Flowercore" compilation 7" 1999.
Originally this was going to be a 12" LP compilation. I wrote all the cool bands I could think of at the time, and most of them were unable to do it. There were a few who supplied tracks, ending up in an odd mix, but the 7" felt fitting. Buttercup, I Farm, Zegota, Cave In, and Anathema all supplied tracks. My friend Alicia worked at a florist's shop so she gave me bags of dead flowers to paste on the covers.
HOT-005 Disarm 7" 1999.
The first out-of-town band that my friends and I ever booked was Operation: Cliff Clavin. They seemed eager to play in any small town, and we had no idea what we were doing but we had them play at a band's practice space and took them to the beach the next day. Chris and Hannah had a new band soon enough, called Disarm, and I asked if I could help with their 7". I screen printed the covers in a friend's living room.
HOT-006 The Goddamn Deluge 7" 2000.
This band was so good when they were around! I need to upload this so that people can download it. I'll get back to this one.
HOT-007 Kill The Hippies "Exterminate The Brutes" 7" 2002.
HOT-007.5 Reactionary 3 "demo tape" 2002
HOT-008 The Devil Is Electric "I've Never Trusted A Revolutionary That Was Afraid To Dance" LP 2002.
HOT-008.5 The Tube Smugglers "Cooking and Killin'" cassette/3"CDR 2002
HOT-009 Reactionary 3 s/t 7" 2003
HOT-009.5 Nuclear Family/Impractical Cockpit split LP (co-released with Friends and Relatives and Trd/Wrd) 2004.

NEW BLOODS tape!!!! SOLD OUT SORRY
ALL SOLD OUT! SORRY!!!
Deadly Nightshade MP3
The Secret Life by The New Bloods will be out on cassette this Wednesday, April 8th! There are 300 professionally dubbed and printed cassettes, so it sounds and looks the same as the LP and CD on Kill Rock Stars, but you know, it's a tape!
New Bloods are a great band from Portland, Oregon and old buddies of mine from way back when. Violin, bass, and drums party punk music not unlike The Raincoats, County Z, Liliput, etc. Of course they put a new spin on the classic sounds. 12 songs in all, a great album!
You can order it through the paypal button below, or the old fashioned way by mail from the street address. The tapes are $6ppd in the US, if you live in another country e-mail me and we'll figure out the postage.
